It's that time of year again when Gambero Rosso awards its scores to the best Italian wines. This remains a very good benchmark for what Italy has to offer in terms of quality wines.

Villa Papiano - Vigna Probi 2020 (Emilia Romagna)
This winery, located in Modigliana, is known for producing red wines made from the Sangiovese grape, which has no equal in finesse in Emilia Romagna. Top class!

Finally, we want to share our opinion on the scores from wine critics and/or other organizations. They remain subjective: critical tasting and making our own judgments is the message for us. What does not fit our DNA we will not buy, regardless of what is written about the wine(s) or by whom.
