Vinification: 2 years of aging in oak barrels, followed by another 3 months of aging in the bottle.

Color/ bouquet/ flavor: Garnet ruby red color. The nose is complex, with clear spicy notes, especially graphite, but also coffee and chocolate, and aromas of violet, pomegranate, berries, cherries. On the palate, it is balanced, with an excellent structure, elegant, with a very long and soft finish that is well supported by lively tannins.

Score and comments: 3 Bicchieri Gambero Rosso: 2019, 2016, 2015, and 2013. An absolute top wine that combines finesse with complexity!

Dish combinations:

• Roasted venison with forest fruits and red wine sauce.
• Beef tagliata with arugula and Parmesan cheese.
• Roman-style Lamb (Lamb with anchovies and rosemary).
