Good full red-ruby. Captivatingly perfumed aromas of raspberry, strawberry jelly, blackberry coulis, nutmeg, cinnamon, and green peppercorns. At once concentrated and broad, with suave but densely packed red fruit and sweet spice flavours and remarkable light on its feet quality. Boasts lovely almost pinot noir-esque tang and underlying mineral complexity. The close is generously ripe and seamless. Outstanding Schioppettino of which you’ll find yourself finishing off the bottle in an embarrassingly fast time, as it is absolutely irresistible.

"Barbara and Hilde are grandmasters of the Schioppettino. They know better than anyone how to bring out the best in this grape."
"Over the years, Hilde has been able to experiment with different vinification methods, using various yeasts; now she only uses indigenous yeasts, which has only increased the 'terroir' quality of her wines!"
For those who thought that only top white wines are made in Friuli, don't be mistaken, this is a top red wine for those who love elegant, complex wines.
